Councillor Patrick Watson moved to Chestermere with his wife and four children from Calgary in 1994. He built their first home in the frigid winter of 1993 when Chestermere's population was slightly less than 1300 residents.
Patrick has spent most of his career in the construction and building industry as a licensed journeyman carpenter. In 2009 he completed the first fulltime college certificate program for “home inspectors”. He now conducts home inspections as a certified, licensed “HI” through his company CDPI lnc.

Patrick has been involved with many Chestermere groups, volunteers, and committees over the years. He is likely most recognized for his past work with the Water Festival, Winter Festival, his efforts with the Lions Club, and his dedication to the Knights of Columbus.
