Notice of Public Hearing: Bylaw 005-18

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26 of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000, and amendments thereto, the Council of the City of Chestermere is considering Bylaw 015-18 (Waterford Stage 2 Outline Plan and Land Use Redesignation), being a bylaw to redesignate a 64.78Ha (160.07 ac) site located in the southwestern corner of the City of Chestermere (SW 4-24-28-W4M) from Urban Transition (UT) to Residential Single Detached District (R-1); Residential Single Detached Planned Lot (R-1P); Residential Semi Detached (R-2); Residential Multi-Unit District (R-3); Low Rise Multi-Unit Residential District (R-4); Live Work District (LW); Public Services District (PS); and to Local Commercial District (C), as per Land Use Bylaw 022-10, as amended.
A Public Hearing will be held in the COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF THE CITY OF CHESTERMERE, on MONDAY AUGUST 13th, 2018; at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of considering verbal and/or (preferably) written representations from interested individuals or groups affected by the proposed Land Use Bylaw Amendment.
Written submissions should be received at the City of Chestermere Office by 4:30PM Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Note: Any submissions received after this time will be considered an oral submission and may be read into the record at the Public Hearing by the writer, or read on his or her behalf.
Copies of the proposed bylaw may be reviewed on the City Website at www.chestermere.ca or at the City of Chestermere Municipal Building, 105 Marina Road, during regular office hours.
