Chestermere Arts Days is a two day cultural experience right here in our community that will be taking place from September 30 to
October 1. Come down to City Hall and the Chestermere Public Library to experience the stunning array of arts and culture in Chestermere!

Don’t miss these fantastic experiences during the sixth annual Arts Days:

1.Tour the food truck gallery
Join us for the Opening Night Blank Canvas Event, where your taste buds will be taken on a cultural journey with delicious food from on-site food trucks offering a variety of dishes including vegan, Mediterranean and dessert selections.

2. Be delighted by the special guests
Musical guests and a variety of cultural entertainers will be performing live throughout the weekend. On Friday night, don’t miss the caricature artist, Korean drummers, Opera and Jazz musicians. On Saturday, there will be free henna samples for all attendees. Check the City’s Facebook page for announcements of more entertainers!

3. Browse the Art Market
Guests on both days will be able to browse selections of artwork and giftware from local artisans. On Friday night, enjoy a glass of wine or beer while walking around the various levels of the building and explore the art which varies from ceramics, to paintings and more, which will also be available for purchase.

4. Appreciate various cultures through fashion
Come learn about the art of fashion at a unique cultural fashion display. The displays, accompanied by a short story about each piece and the culture it represents will highlight the diversity of our community. Interested in displaying your own culture outfits? Contact Danielle at dfermin@chestermere.ca before September 19 if you would like to participate.

5. Bring out your creative side at a free workshop
Connect with your inner artist at one of our free workshops! 2016 workshops include Halloween crafts, origami, painting and music, and are available for people of all ages and experience. Space is limited, so register online early to guarantee your spot for one of these amazing experiences!
