Chestermere_News_Release.pdf
Since the United Way of Calgary and Area recognizes that many Chestermere residents commute to Calgary and donate to the annual United Way campaign, through their workplace, they have decided to make certain that a portion of their overall funds raised are specifically invested in Chestermere.

Chestermere has been awarded a Provincial Award

that will help us build a better community. ACE Communities work with members of our community to develop an action plan to create an
Active, Creative, Engaged Community!

Community Services is a department of the Town of Chestermere, however, our service area spans all of South East Rocky View and in the case of our Parent Link Center, Strathmore and Wheatland County as well.

Serving the communities of Carseland, Conrich, Chestermere, Cluny, Dalemead, Dalroy, Delacour, Gleichen, Hussar, Indus, Langdon, Rockyford, Rosebud, Standard, Strathmore and surrounding areas.

We deliver social programs that are preventive in nature to promote and enhance well-being among individuals, families, and communities.

We assist the community in assessing their needs and developing plans to meet them, through:

  • FCSS programs, workshops and services
  • Community Development & Social Planning
  • Anti-bullying Project
  • Community liaison and partnership
  • Youth and Volunteer development
  • Parenting education & Family support
  • Early childhood development and care

These programs depend on community resources, often involving volunteers in management and delivery.
