Approved Development Permits
The following Development Permit(s) have been approved in accordance with the Town of Chestermere Land Use Bylaw 99-600, as amended, and will appear in the upcoming edition of The Anchor. there are no ads presently
Any person deemed to be affected by the above approval(s) may choose to appeal this decision to the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board within 14 days. Contact 403-207-7075 for more information.
This team is responsible for all aspects of planning and development within the Town including permit (decks, basements, garages, single-family & multi-family homes, commercial buildings) approvals and issuance, stamps of compliance, subdivision review, development agreements, comprehensive plan(s) review, Annexation, etc. Documents such as the Land Use Bylaw, Municipal Development Plan, Area Structure Plan(s), and Outline Plans are also under the jurisdiction of this department.

Municipal Improvements Policy and Development Agreement for Subdivisions

Landscaping Deposit
According to Section 7.22.10 of Land Use Bylaw 022-10, as amended, which was approved by Town Council on February 22, 2011, the Town is authorized to collect a Landscaping Deposit of $2,500.00 from the applicant of a Development Permit for a new home construction. Performance Deposit
In accordance with Policy #143 (Fee Schedule), which was approved by Town Council on December 7, 2009, the Town is now authorized to collect from the applicant, prior to issuance of a Development Permit for new home construction, a Performance Deposit of $5,000.00.
