County Annexation Residents ~ Tax & Assessment Notices
Welcome to Chestermere!
The Town of Chestermere would like to advise that the “Taxation & Assessment Notices” for the residences impacted by the County annexation will be mailed sometime after July 2009.
County annexation residents will be provided the 30 days to appeal or pay the property taxes from the mailing date of notices without incurring any late penalties.
Residents who pay their taxes on the Tax Installment Payment Plan (TIPP) will have their payments withdrawn the 15th of every month (not the first of every month as was done previously.)
This is within keeping the payment date consistent with the Town of Chestermere TIPP Program.
*Please note, the first TIPP payment withdrawl will be June 15th, 2009.
The withdrawal amount will remain the same until the 2009 taxes have been processed.
