Final notice: City’s local alerts notifications to move to Voyent Alert App

Good afternoon,

You are receiving this message because you are currently subscribed to receive Chestermere’s ‘Local Alerts’ notifications via the City’s website at chestermere.ca/notifyme.

As of August 15, 2019, the City will no longer be sending emergency alerts through this web subscription service and all emergency alerts for Chestermere will be sent out via the smart phone app, Voyent Alert!

Voyent Alert! will allow Chestermere residents to receive location-specific and time-sensitive information during emergencies.

The app is free to download from any smart phone app store (search for Voyent Alert!) and all that is needed to register is a Chestermere postal code. It will allow the City to alert subscribers to emergencies such as fires, storms, or highway closures and provide safety instructions specific to the event and the user’s location.

Residents who do not have a smart phone can also easily subscribe using their mobile phone, land line or email through the service’s web portal at https://register.voyent-alert.com. (You may need to copy and paste this link into a browser to access the page.)
