More and more senior care facilities are introducing forms of virtual reality & see its benefits for more than just exercise and maintaining a healthy cognitive state. Barry sees an increasing need for caregivers, especially partners & other family members to be able to use the technology in the home and other more informal environments.
Barry’s presentation will provide a view of the current virtual reality options but also how the combining with augmented reality options will add a whole new dimension that is much more transparent and natural to use. The presentation will include updates on current research studies currently underway that support the approach .
