On Monday, July 18, Chestermere Municipal Enforcement will be at the local Tim Hortons to kick off their Support Ukraine event.

Municipal Peace Officers, along with Firefighters and RCMP, will be on location to talk to community members and back the month-long campaign. 

The intent of the campaign is to re-ignite the community spirit while giving back to another community (country) that is struggling so very hard right now. The war in Ukraine is a humbling reminder that our world is fragile and we need to stand together as a global community to support those in need.

All proceeds of the transformed vanilla dip donut with the Ukrainian flag colours will make up a community donation that will directly support Ukrainian refugees.

Chestermere Municipal Enforcement and Chestermere Tim Hortons invite the entire community out on July 18 and for the month following.

When you pick up your favourite morning java remember to grab a Ukraine donut to show your support!
